How often are you on Gaia Online? About 2 hours on weekdays, and 5 - 7 hours on Friday until Sunday.

How did you find out about Gaia Online Magazine & How long have you been a reader? I found Gaia Online Magazine when i had the idea to start a magazine. But knowing i’m not really that good at finding others… So i decided to join one. So i found GOM after searching some magazines that are in Gaia Online XD I’ve been a reader since…. The fourth issue, i think. But i kept reading the previous and the new ones.

Do you have Skype? Yup!

Do you enjoy writing? Yes, so very much!

Tell me about yourself, among with why you should become my Writer: First of all, i dedicate my life to writing. Writing is like… My life. I could not think a better word for this, but anyways i will give it all for writing! Second, i’m the head journalist at senior high school. Third, i work in My Gaia Magazine. Well, i suppose i did work there. Because the crew has become pretty much inactive from time to time. Some asr ticles i’ve done can be found in the first issue and the second issue. I’d say, my best article until now is ‘Fashion Trends 2011’, which talks about Gaia’s past fashion trends in 2011. You can find it on page 39 - 40 on the first issue. To be honest, my weakness is (probably) only my grammar. I’d like to apologize for that in advance.

If I told you we were making an article about Hackers on Gaia Online, what type of research would you do? Give me a catchy title and write out a paragraph for this article.
What kind of research? Well i’ll interview the ones that has been hacked (and maybe add a little bit about other threats alike, such as password phishing). I’ll ask them how they got hacked, and what was their reaction. And also, a tip from them so all of the other Gaians can be safe from hackers. Not only that, i’ll also do a little bit research on related petitions, events, and guilds. Then i’ll put all of them together (including photos and other things that needs to be added).

Hacked!

I’m sure most of you have the reason to keep being here, in Gaia, is because you’re addicted to the items or the virtual money, yes? That’s the reason other than making friends. Most of the people here knows what ‘hacking’ and ‘password phishing’ is. For those who didn’t know, hacking is, we got it covered.

Definitions Wrote:Hacking, is an act where someone gets in your account, usually with a hacking software. They usually steal the items, either transferring the valuable items to their account, or selling them and transferring the gold to their account.

Password phishing is an act where someone gets into your account, by asking you your password. They do pretty much the same as hackers.

But some other phishers and hackers, usually use the newly phished or hacked account to password phish other people (who are in the friend list of the people they’ve just hacked). Some also use it to bully other people here in Gaia, so their main account won’t be banned. But instead, the account they’ve just hacked will be the one who’s banned.

Now you know the definitions. Some of them have been hacked and phished, and some of them are still safe with their gold and items. But what if you got hacked one they? Surely you will lost everything. Unless, you can prevent it from happening. On this article, we’ll talk about hacking in Gaia; how to prevent them and how to stand up again after you’re hacked.

I don’t know if that really counts as a paragraph (or more, but i think it’s more than one)…. But still, i’m writing the article until the very end on my computer. If you want it (to read it for my application), you can just ask for it. Thank you~!
